Whether you’re hosting friends, or just looking for festive dishes for the family, check out some of our favorite leprechaun inspired recipes below. For a bit of added luck and a lot of style, we’ve also paired these delish dishes with glistening green Emeralds. Because, why not?!

  • 2 cups packed fresh basil leaves.
  • 2 cloves garlic.
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts.
  • 2/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil, divided.
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Pecorino cheese.

Combine the basil, garlic, and pine nuts in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Add 1/2 cup of the oil and process until fully incorporated and smooth. Season with salt and pepper. If using immediately, add all the remaining oil and pulse until smooth. Transfer the pesto to a large serving bowl and mix in the cheese.

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon mint extract, or more to taste
  • 9 drops green food coloring
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 2 tablespoons whipped cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon green decorator sugar

Blend ice cream, milk, mint extract, and food coloring together in a blender until smooth.Drizzle chocolate syrup around inside walls of 2 tall glasses; pour shake into glass. Top with whipped cream and green decorator sugar.

  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 4 cups of soft marshmallows
  • 5 cups of Rice Krispie cereal
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Green food coloring
  • 3/4 cup of Lucky Charm’s marshmallows

Melt butter over low heat until completely melted. Gradually add the regular marshmallows and stir often to avoid burning them. When the marshmallow and butter mixture is completely melted, add the 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and your green food coloring. Mix well. Remove from heat and stir in your Rice Krispie cereal. Once mixture is mostly combined, stir in the Lucky Charm’s marshmallows.

Deviled Eggs

  • 10 hard boiled eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Green food coloring
  • Cider vinegar
  • Paprika

Put the eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, turn down the heat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, cool the eggs with running cold water. Peel the eggs. Then cut them in half. Separate the yokes and put them in a bowl. Combine cider vinegar with green food coloring in a bowl and add the egg whites. Remove them when they are pastel green. Mash the yolks with a fork. When they’re uniformly crumbly, add about a 1/2 cup mayonnaise. You can make it as creamy as you like. Time to fill the eggs! Put a little bit of the yolk mixture in each egg, so you don’t run out, then go back and add a little more on top. Garnish with a little bit of paprika.

  • 1 1⁄2 cups oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon green food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1⁄2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt

Combine eggs, sugar, oil and vinegar in bowl. Mix well.  Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Add to egg mixture alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla and food coloring. Pour into 3 greased and floured 8 ” cake pans. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cool. Frost between layers, top and side of cake.

  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 14oz sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract
  • 3 drops green food coloring
  • 1 cup chopped up chocolate bits

In a large mixing bowl, whip your heavy cream over high speed for about 10-15 minutes until stiff peaks start to form. In another bowl, combine your condensed milk, peppermint extract, food coloring and chocolate bits. Pour your whipped cream into your sweetened condensed milk mixture and fold everything together till combined. Pour into a 3 QT pan and cover tightly.
